It looks like a silk fan? I have serveral. My Aunt used to buy them for me as presents where ever they went on holidays. I have some beautiful ones from China and Japan. But my favourite as a child was one with a flamenco lady dancing on it. I always take one on holiday if it is a warm or hot country. i hope I am right else I will look very silly.
If that is a fan and not some sensual object, I'm jealous, they're almost impossible to find any more. I made myself on out of paper and it works great, but doesn't have the stylish snap of the real thing.
