When they get full, we head down to our local recycler! We are able to avoid having to pay for a trash service in this way!Vickie @ makingoursustainablelife.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01210045536198927269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3375887793985280500.post-50326785503788363052015-09-01T09:35:11.022+02:002015-09-01T09:35:11.022+02:00Harry - Sorry to give you a fright.

They built a shed at the dump, and you could drop off clear glass, colored glass, plastics, metal, old batteries, etc. But it didn't make any money. Here, everything has to make money. So they just went back to burying the stuff.Harry Flashmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05071021900005041592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3375887793985280500.post-75689647905378276002015-08-30T10:53:41.737+02:002015-08-30T10:53:41.737+02:00Sue - I completely understand wherfe you're co...Sue - I completely understand wherfe you're coming from. Before we started recycling we used to have 2 X large bags of garbage every week, Now, we fill a 1/4 - 1/3 of a bag. The rest goes to recycling. If recycling was law, people would have no option - but at the moment they're just too lazy to make the effort...??? I couldn't believe nobody took that. <br />Hubby and I are disgusted with how much waste people put out here. Everyone around us fills the HUGE trash cans we are given on a weekly basis---and by fill, I mean to overflowing!
